The Vader house, with its unique modern massing, was designed as the first chalet built of a series for a developer in Japan. The silhouette of the house was to act as the brand’s icon.
The building, despite its large amount of glazing, is extremely energy efficient. High amounts of natural insulation were used. Paired with smart proactive design and a commitment to having no glass installations facing northwards, the building is also cost efficient to run.
The construction lasted only six months and the property was finished in 2016.
